About SquishVerse Foundation
We're a small team with a big belief: gaming should bring people together, and every community deserves to be safe.
How We Got Here
SquishVerse didn't start as a nonprofit. It started as a gaming community — a place where people could game together without dealing with the toxicity, harassment, and chaos that defines most online spaces. During the pandemic, the founder's adult community leaned on each other through gaming — showing up, checking in, and staying connected when everything else felt uncertain. That experience proved something: safe gaming spaces aren't just for kids. They're for everyone.
As the community grew across platforms, so did the need. Parents started asking for help understanding what their kids were doing online. Young members needed mentors. Adults needed connection. And far too many people couldn't fully participate because they didn't have adequate hardware.
That's when SquishVerse became a foundation. We formalized what we were already doing, built real programs around real needs, and incorporated as a nonprofit so we could do this work at scale. We're still early. We're still small. But we're building something that matters.
Our Mission
SquishVerse Foundation builds safe, moderated gaming communities where people connect, families play together, and underserved individuals gain access to the technology that brings them in.
Our Vision
A world where every gaming community is a safe one — for kids, adults, and families alike. Where parents understand their kids' digital lives. Where people of all ages find real connection through play. Where mentorship happens naturally. And where nobody is excluded from the digital world because they can't afford hardware.
What We Believe
Safety isn't optional
Every community we build or partner with has active moderation, clear rules, and real accountability. We don't do 'self-moderated.'
Families belong in gaming
Parents aren't the enemy of gaming. They're potential allies. We help them understand and participate instead of fear and restrict.
Access is a right
You shouldn't be locked out of opportunity, education, or community because you can't afford a computer. We work to close that gap.
Mentorship changes lives
A trusted adult can change the trajectory of a young person's life. We create those connections intentionally and responsibly.
Transparency builds trust
We say what we do, we do what we say, and we share our financials, processes, and outcomes openly.
Community is the point
Everything we build serves the community. Not metrics, not growth targets, not brand awareness. People.
The People Behind SquishVerse
A small team building something big. Real people, real commitment.
Kelsey Bailey
President & Founder
Kelsey founded SquishVerse because she saw firsthand what happens when gaming communities lack real safety infrastructure. After years of building and moderating gaming communities across multiple platforms — and watching her adult community survive the pandemic together through gaming — she decided to create something better. A nonprofit dedicated to making gaming a positive force for everyone, at every age.
