Our Programs

Four programs working together toward one goal: making gaming a force for connection, safety, and opportunity. Each one addresses a different piece of the puzzle — and together, they form a complete system.

The Front Door

SafeSquish Community

Safe spaces, real community, zero tolerance for toxicity.

What It Is

SafeSquish is the backbone of everything we do. It starts with our moderated Discord community — a space where people can game, hang out, and connect without the toxicity that plagues most online spaces. As we grow, we'll expand to other platforms too. Every space is monitored. Every moderator is vetted. Every member agrees to a clear code of conduct.

Who It Serves

Everyone. Kids, teens, adults, families. We have age-gated spaces where appropriate, but the core community is open to anyone who wants to game in a safe environment. Whether you're 13 or 53, you belong here.

What It Looks Like in Practice

Members join our Discord community, agree to community rules, and get access to game-specific channels, voice chat, events, and community discussions. We're building out regular game nights, community hangouts, and as we grow — in-person events like LAN parties and meetups. Moderators are active and present, not just names on a list.

The Bridge

Parent Player Academy

Your kid is gaming. Here's how to be part of it.

What It Is

Parent Player Academy teaches parents to understand, navigate, and engage with their children's gaming world. Not to spy on them. Not to shut it down. To actually connect. We cover everything from what Discord is and how parental controls work, to how to talk to your kid about online safety without making them shut down.

Who It Serves

Parents, grandparents, guardians — anyone raising a kid who games. You don't need to know anything about gaming to start. That's the whole point.

What It Looks Like in Practice

We provide step-by-step parental controls guides for every major platform (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, PC, mobile, and Discord), educational content on digital safety, and a parent-specific community space. Parents learn what their kids are actually doing online, how to set appropriate boundaries, how to spot warning signs, and — most importantly — how to start gaming with their kids.

The Equalizer

LevelUp Labs

You can't join the digital world if you can't afford the ticket in.

What It Is

LevelUp Labs is our digital equity program. We collect, refurbish, and distribute gaming and computing hardware to individuals and families who can't afford it. Nobody should be locked out of community, connection, or opportunity because they can't afford a PC or console — whether that's a kid who can't game with friends, or an adult who's isolated without access to the digital world.

Who It Serves

Underserved individuals and families of all ages. Anyone who needs hardware for connection, education, or community. Community organizations serving populations without reliable technology access.

What It Looks Like in Practice

We accept donated hardware (PCs, consoles, peripherals, monitors), refurbish and test it, and distribute it to verified recipients. We partner with schools, community centers, and social workers to identify people who need equipment. Every device we send out is clean, functional, and ready to use. We're also building a network of volunteer technicians who can help with setup and troubleshooting.

The Heart

SquishGuide Mentorship

Every young person deserves a trusted adult. We make sure they have one.

What It Is

SquishGuide pairs vetted adult mentors with young gamers who need guidance, support, or just someone to talk to. Mentorship happens through gaming — playing together, chatting, building a real relationship. Every mentor passes a background check and goes through our training program. This isn't volunteer babysitting. It's intentional, structured mentorship built on trust.

Who It Serves

Youth ages 13-18 who could benefit from a positive adult presence. Mentors are adults 21+ who pass screening, background checks, and training.

What It Looks Like in Practice

Mentors and mentees are matched based on interests, play style, and availability. They connect through our moderated community spaces and play games together on a regular schedule. Check-ins happen weekly. Program staff monitor relationships and provide ongoing support to both mentors and mentees. Parents and guardians are kept informed and involved throughout.
